Mcdonald's - Guelph

Worst McDonald's experience everDrive through made us pull over and wait 10minutes for two hamburgersWhy bother having a drive through.

The Stone Road location in Guelph can get quite busy during peak times but I always find they get the lines moving quickly.Service is always top notch and friendly and the food is always good.***currently undergoing a reno ? changing to a "McCafe" look ?

As expected very busy although the kids play area was not, thankfully.The best bet is to order your food via the terminals and wait till they call your number. Then get a table at the back, not near the entrance area.How is the food? Same as at any mcdonalds. The coffee is excellent and the baked goods are very good.

First impression was ‘Large and well laid out’.Second impression not so good.I counted 10 pieces of paper and debris around the booths in one section.Then I went into the men’s washroom. The sink was dirty. The floor was very dirty.This was 4 o’clock in the afternoon. At rush hour I would expect them to get a bit behind in these areas but there is no excuse not to clean after each rush. The food was typical, acceptable but not great McDonald’s food.The cleanliness was definitely not up to McDonald’s Canada standards.

It's not rockets science we went thru the drive thru at this location after a very long day and it was correct on the screen. When we bit into our chicken wraps they were the wrong kind we ordered the crispy chicken and we got the grilled.We were a traffic light or 2 down the road and turned around as the texture of their grilled chicken is like it is boiled, not enjoyable to either of us. As I was heading in Dan was heading out with someone's order that was parked.He asked it I had a problem as I was heading in with the wraps with only a bite out each, I explained and he told me to wait in my car asking where it was.He came out with the correct items and a free hot large fries for the trouble. Employees like Dan should be appreciated for grace under pressure and correcting the problem promptly. Mistakes can happen it's how they are handled.Drive thru deserves a 1* Dan elevated it to a 4*
