Historic restaurant since 1845, I always go here when I'm in Gstaad. Swiss chalet atmosphere, impeccable service. French, German or English spoken fluently by all waiters and waitresses. Wise prices but in line with Gstaad. Proper cuisine, it's not gastronomy. A la carte vegetarian dishes. I really like this place out of time. read more.

Good swizz food, but nothing extra ordinary. The truffle fondue was decent, served well with potatos, onions, gerkins and bread. Could have been much better with better bread, may be toasted. More truffle required in the fondue. The left over hardened cheese in the fodue pots is excellent when scraped off the container. The rosti was very nice, and so was the spinach gnocci.
