Outside of Italy, this was the best authentic Italian fettuccine I’ve ever had. Homemade, Al dente noodles were perfect. The sauce was not too heavy and not too light, just right. Perfect amount of peas, prosciutto and fresh mushrooms. The house Cabernet complimented my meal well. My husband and son had lasagna and loved it. since you asked. we celebrated a birthday for my 92 year old mother in law, which I incorporate into my special instructions during booking. there was no recognition of it, so I mentioned it after we ended our escapes. we got a complementary candle in her dessert, which she pleased, but the waiter demanded the wrong escape for her, which led to a long wait for her evening while my man and I ate our evening. eating wa... We absolutely adore Osteria. It's a hidden gem! The food is scrumptious and the service is top-notch. It truly feels like we've been transported to a cozy Italian restaurant.
My husband and I both had the snapper piccata. It was delicious. One of our favorite places to go in Greensboro.
