Moxie's Grill - Grande Prairie

After a morning of care, my daughter and I stayed at moxies for lunch. we have ordered bruschetta to begin... really good. ceaser salad with salmon....no taste on the salmon or salad....very bland. fischtacos were really good. service was really good.

We were in the gp mall and decided to eat in moxies for a bite and we were not disappointed. we were greeted by friendly staff and sat immediately and had drinks in a few minutes. we ordered their lunch soup/sandwich combo, good value for their money. the broccoli cheese soup was delicious and the beef-dip sandwich had plenty of meat on a warm bungalow. the rossettich sauce is mild and was a nice supplement for the taste. service was fast and friendly, atmosphere quiet, eating a lot and tasty, well worth a visit.

We had a great lunch, after 2 pm when it was slow but although the food was wonderful, the service was extremely slow and the first time I was asked if I wanted another drink was when we asked for the bill.

Have been here many times, first time trying the fish tacos...wasn’t a huge fan but that’s because I’m just not used to corn beans on my fish taco. What annoyed me this trip was all the extra charges when the bill came. And it...frustrates me when the server offers you something “extra” like, “would you like cheese on your med bread”? Yeah sure that sounds great but later on the bill you see it’s a $3 charge. Also with the med bread you get 3 types of dip, well we only like the garlic spread and asked if the 3 could just be that one no problem, but on the bill it’s an extra $2. Ordered 2 orders of hot wings apparently ranch doesn’t come free anymore, was charged $4 for 2 things of ranch. Ordered a kids meal but the drink for the kids meal isn’t included and It’s the same price as the regular adult drinks. Left there feeling very frustrated...

My family enjoyed a superb meal here! I had a pasta dish that was absolutely delicious! And.... such a large serving that I had enough for dinner in my room the next night! SO tasty, clean restaurant and great service!
