Greek Island Restaurant The

The appie of stuffed grape leaves was really good. Well seasoned, hot and served fast. The main meal was okay. Take into consideration that this was the last day before it closed for a few weeks for owner holidays. They were missing a few items on the menu. Good variety on the menu. Food was average and could have been a bit more seasoned especially the rice and potatoes. The lamb chops were okay.

We go here often and it is always fabulous. The calamari is so tender it melts in your mouth and the saganaki is always a special treat. Our favorite is the appy platter for two and a glass of their house special red wine. Gus and Tammy are always there to welcome their guests.

I've waited too long to be able to remember what we ate, but we really loved this restaurant. We were camping nearby and walked to it. The decor was very nice and the service was very good. It felt like we were in Greece. We found out after we ate that the owner was from Greece and still spends a lot of time there where he still has a home. Very friendly people. We would definitely eat there again if we travel that way. We felt like it was a very special treat and we were very fortunate to have found this place.
