"Food here was so tasty. Seating was a little snug because we were seated in the bar and it got quite busy while we were there. Oddly, there's a nearby cafeteria that conceivably could seat a lot of people but they have it closed and kinda cram folks into the bar instead. That being said, we all enjoyed our food very much. It was delicious. I had pizza and it was great! We were staying in a nearby campsite so it was perfect to have someone else make food for us and have a nice beer on tap. They have a lot of options for as small as it is. Would come back!"

"Three of us had the Navajo tacos with vegetarian chili, which were quite good. The tortellini was mediocre. The desserts (chocolate mousse taco, cheesecake, and flourless chocolate cake) were delicious. The prices were actually pretty reasonable, especially when compared to how expensive everything is for dinner. Why did it not get five stars, you ask? El Tovar is a restaurant that tries hard to create an air of elegance. Unfortunately, it never actually FEELS elegant. It feels like pretty much any other restaurant in an area overrun with tourists. To be fair, there is really nothing they door poorly and we were pleased with everything. It’s just wasn’t a five-star experience."
