Enjoyed a few drinks on Tuesday then took a local friend for dinner on Friday. Well, the atmosphere is relaxing & inviting with separated sports, gaming & pool tables. The restaurant is well appointed leading out to a huge deck area overlooking the Clarence river which is special. From the oysters natural, the huge Signature dish (which I had) to the sticky date pudding (drowned in the best sauce as in my photo), the... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Crown Hotel Motel - Grafton Restaurant:
Very busy night with people and bike riders wanting dinner and the dinner didn't open until 6pm, which was late for a busy night and there was a lack of staff for such a busy night, it was not very well planned for as they would have known the function was on, but the food was very nice View all feedback.
Drinks are stopped in the afternoon. I enjoyed 2 lychee margaritas, they were delicious. a wonderful fund for a local pub that makes delicious cocktails. service friendly. we sat in the beer garden under the cover that was great.
Chicken schnitzel is the one away! come to lunch and order the chicken carving with salat, chips and gravy. this meal came in good time, the chicken was juicy, the chips were crispy, the salat was fresh! high five youngs! good meal delivered and enjoyed!
The staff at Crown Hotel are polite, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and reasonably priced. The pork bistro meal was delicious. I had never tried pork bone before, but I managed to enjoy it. The restaurant offers a great view of the river, making it a pleasant place to stop. I highly recommend staying here when traveling through Grafton to or from Brisbane.
The second time I have discoursed and stayed there. eating constituent gooid a huge portion. thai beef salat exceptional. pasta with speck cheesre and cream good and prawn gyoza ditto. andrew a bar staff made the night totally fantastic hospo.worker born. beautiful river bank dining.
Stayed in the hotel which although showing signs of age was very comfortable, clean with a huge verandah to catch the river breezes and enjoy the view. Ensuite was attached and again very comfortable spacious but definitely in need of some decor upgrades. This...old lady reminiscent of old England has been around for a very long time in Grafton. Historical pics adorn the foyer walls adding to the atmosphere. The carpets are well worn but worn well, there's a communal kitchen offering fridge microwave, kettle and table setting mistky in the sun for breakfast/other meals. The verandah balcony includes tables chairs outside each room which also include TV, wardrobe with door, and dresser/chest of drawers. Room cleaned most days, bed made, fresh towels, soaps shampoos which assisted greatly when coming back after long work days. Drinks are available from the bar downstairs as are meals and snacks which are excellent, desserts presented well in display cabinet, beer garden and deck options for hotel/motel guests other patrons. Street and private onsite parking for cars small Vans. Larger RV etc can use the streets surrounding as they're very wide, flat with good access to the Cbd. NB no lift available so luggage needs to be carried up several flights of wide, carpeted stairs which may cause some issues. Stairs have been fitted with metal strips to highlight edges which does help. As a solo female on this occasion I felt safe in this environment although recommend you consider your safety after dark if arriving late or using street parking as street lighting patchy.
