I highly recommend dining here. We went as a group off 8 and everyone loved there meals. I had the classic butter chicken and it was fantastic and tried a dish I had never had before (saag chicken) and was very impressed. Was looking foward to Indian with the family. We waited 15min for the menu and 1hr for complimentary pappadums and the first and only drinks to arrive. 10 min later the entree came out before cultery and plates. One entree was half the quantity ordered. The Mains arrived with entree plates still on the table. Food was ok flavours but little meat and small servings. "A pleasant atmosphere but very bad service. I ordered szechuan fillet steak. the meal was unusable because it was so spicy. at the payment of the receptors apologised that she had forgotten to tell me that it was the most scientious dish on the menu. I could have had a choice. the sweet and acidic pork was overboiled and came without sweet."

"Went for lunch at the Royal with my daughter and granddaughter today and we had the crumbed steak and veg x 2 and the kids fish and chips. The meals were amazing with nice creamy mash, veggies cooked perfectly and the crumbed steak was the best one I’ve had in ages. Can’t beat a great crumbed steak."
