Stopped in here today and purchased family chips. They where extremely bitter tasting and over cooked. They tasted bitter as a result of old burnt cooking oil. If you are going to charge 6 dollars for chips please ensure that they arw top notch and don't skimp on changing oil regularly as this is they only way they end up with the way they tasted by not doing so. "Went for lunch at the Royal with my daughter and granddaughter today and we had the crumbed steak and veg x 2 and the kids fish and chips. The meals were amazing with nice creamy mash, veggies cooked perfectly and the crumbed steak was the best one I’ve had in ages. Can’t beat a great crumbed steak."
