Light Bulb Cafe - GOODWOOD

Made a special trip here to have staff breakfast meeting on the way to a trade fair. We were greeted by the lovely Sarah! Coffee was great as was the meal! Service was efficient and staff were very welcoming ! A wonderful healthy start to the day!!

When it first opened I drove past and gave the place three months.... once again WRONG. The place is booming. They have nailed the café holy grail - the combination of food, service and ambiance sorted.Seriously the food is memorable I am still thinking about the lunch I had there.....(normally I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday). I have made a few beetroot and haloumi salads in my time, and have ordered many a salad for lunch. I had their beetroot and haloumi salad and it was amazing. Seriously one of the most memorable things I have eaten for ages. Amazingly they have got the service thing also sorted, it is personable, attentive and just nice people - it has a great vibe. It is a great place to meet friends and also have a work coffee. If I was to be a little fussy (which I am apparently known for) the walls are too white! I know it that is pretty irrelevant.... just trying to be balanced!Go there - enjoy yourself and be surprised how long you stay. Your will even remember what you had for lunch!

We had a family engagement to celebrate with the newly engaged couple flying in for a quick visit from Brisbane. We approached Marty to see if he could accommodate about 30 guests for a Saturday night. Marty opened especially for us and put on a superb spread with fantastic service.Thanks Marty, I know that the engaged couple were very impressed with what you were able to do at such short notice.

Great food with fresh ingredients. Good vegetarian options. Great place for catch-ups as it's not loud. Highly recommend!
