Tune Up Karaoke Bar - Gold Coast

Staying down at the Gold Coast with a few friends. We dont mind a bit of karaoke. Found this place. Security on the door said there's no entry fee but you have to buy a drink....that cool, 15 drinks later we are up! Its a small place but thats what makes it great. When they input the songs they just go by number, there's no calling out ur name to be up. That sorta worked except when I had my song Creep (Radiohead) come up. The asian dude that had been singing all night stepped up, unknown if he had chosen the same song or what so we tried a duet. I'd probs prefer if they did call out who was singing next to avoid confusion. Overall tho, great night and we will be back!

I come here at least twice a week and this night I was very disappointed as the last songs were coming on the bouncer got up to sing and said a friend could join so he did then the very grumpy looking girl behind the bar took the microphone off us and said we could not sing and to let the bouncer (who should be working) sing on his own. Okay we put the mics down but then another woman stands up with him and she doesn't say anything. Pulls faces at my group of friends. Don't know if I'll be back now.

3rd time I have been here now. They have reasonably priced drinks, friendly staff and a massive range of tunes to sing! Well Done Guys, I'll be back next year!

We hired a private room for 2 hours, and had a great time with our teenage children. Huge choice of songs. Staff were great at explaining the machine and getting drinks orders. Would recommend.

Great venue, always made fun by the people in it. Private rooms are pretty cool for those who dont want to make complete idiots of themselves. Beer is reasonably priced too, alwlays a bonus.
