Oishi Teppanyaki - Gold Coast

Had an excellent Sunday lunch with the family at this place, food was great and the chef put on a great show. staff was really friendly as well.

I took my two young, chip-loving children from the countryside out for a meal and couldn't believe my luck in finding this place! The teppanyaki chef was very entertaining and the food was excellent. The prices were reasonable, which is always a plus. Good luck to the staff – I hope your fantastic restaurant is a huge success! We will definitely be returning.

Our family was in a bit of a pickle when Mr. 6 wanted pizza but his parents wanted a nice meal. After some holiday tantrums, we finally convinced Mr. 6 to give this place a try with the promise of letting him choose anything the next night. The theatrics were entertaining and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the family special with chicken, prawns, and beef, which was a hit with everyone. Mr. 6 is already excited to come back tomorrow night, and we're happy to oblige (even though I do have a soft spot for pizza from Roma).

It was wonderful to discover a halal teppanyaki restaurant. We decided to try the family mix platter for 4. The chef (who happened to be the owner's brother) was delightful and full of charm. In addition to the tasty food, his lively energy and entertaining showmanship will definitely make us return again.
