Good menu to choose from. We tried some cocktails, the Mekong Mule will rock your socks off! Do not miss the steamed buns, one is pork belly, the other duck both absolutely yummy. Not cheap, buns are $12, only 2 per serve. Quick service. Will definitely go back. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Saigon Lane:
There used to be a great restaurant here so I was disappointed when it closed. I live in Glebe and like Vietnamese food so I was looking forward to it. The ambience was great but I did not like having to order it as if I was ordering a takeaway with other people standing around near my table waiting for their takeaway. I enjoyed the duck pancakes but I thought everything on the menu was more expensive than I expected... View all feedback.
As a regular customer to Saigon Lane I am feeling a little disappointed. I always go and pay for my meal when we frequent Saigon Lane, however, I took up an offer on Groupon that arrived in my email Inbox a couple of months ago. Groupon is not something I am really familiar with. I purchased dinner for 4 including cocktails and unbeknownst to me - or perhaps I just wasn't conscious of the fact... the expiry was April 12 (I was away from Sydney at the time). I had told a group of friends that I would 'shout' them a nice meal out and a cocktail.Unfortunately, when I went to book I discovered an expiry date had lapsed by a week (I guess the voucher was a couple of months old) and neither Group on or Saigon Lane would honour the voucher.I feel to keep a good customer, and show some understanding, something could have been done in this respect. So, a little bit upset that there was no lee-way - and although the food is great, this has left a bad taste in my mouth to the point I feel uncomfortable spending time at this great little restaurant. Understanding would have gone a long way - so that I could continually tell people to go to Saigon Lane for good food, and a good experience.

Very nice Vitnamese restaurat with modern designe. Food was serveved very nice delicious.Restaurant staff was very nice, we really enjoyed time here. Thank you
I always hate to leave negative reviews .... but this place could be so much better.I have been here twice, the first time the service was especially slow and the food only just OK, but given there was only a single person serving, and they had only recently opened, I figured I would give it another shot. The second time was worse, waited forever for a pork Banh Mi, which eventually arrived with almost no pork, no coriander, no soy, no chillie or the basic components I have come to expect from this Vietnamese staple. The rice paper rolls my partner ordered arrived well after I had finished my 'salad roll' ... and the drinks? Well, they were also eventually provided after prompting the guy serving.Overall, very disappointing, especially for a place that looks so good. Over priced, slow and average food. Twice is enough for me, I wont be back.
