Even thou I booked thou opentable and had email and text to prove so the restaurant had no recognition of my booking. They didn’t have a great attitude and were constantly quizzing me about when I booked. When we were eventually given a table, service was slow and no apology for mix up. The food was great and really enjoyed it. Only got one cup of coffee and once food and drinks were served no one asked if we were okay or wanted anything.

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."

"What a sound! absolutely gorgeous little jewel of a caffe not far from the city center of glasgow. my friends and I had speck pancakes and black pudding, i and chorizo spices fabulous taste and much of it, washed by some excellent coffee if I lived closer, my morning routine would change to include more regular visits."

"I'm here, really good food! both had to start bruscheta. Nice. only negatiw for me were the discs of the raw garlic in it. we both had it. we had huh and stornoway blackpudding on kartoffelmash and berry jus that was fantastic and penne arabbiata was great. we ordered garlic bread that was massive! Maybe next time order half a part. great food, service and wine. hidden gem and will be back!"
