While some diners found the food to be lacking in flavor and quality, with concerns ranging from cold mashed potatoes to unpleasant French onion soup, others had a positive overall experience. One customer praised the excellent service received during a private dinner event, noting the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. Another diner appreciated the consistent quality of the food and service, despite some minor issues with slow service and cleanliness. Those who enjoyed their meals highlighted the delicious steaks and good service provided by knowledgeable and attentive staff. Overall, LongHorn Steakhouse seems to offer a range of experiences, from disappointing to delightful, for diners seeking a classic American chain restaurant experience.
We like Longhorn, the food is usually consistently good. We went there a few weeks ago on a Sunday, for lunch. The service was a little slow, but in all fairness they were understaffed with only a few waiters/waitresses covering the entire restaurant and they were hustling, so grateful for that. The food was very good, I had the 12 oz ribeye, with loaded baked potato (perfectly cooked) my daughter had the filet with rice (steak was perfectly cooked/rice kind of plain but steakhouses are not typically known for rice), and we shared the firecracker chicken wraps (always nice to have). Generous portions, we actually took some of the app home, because we were full. Ambiance is also always nice. They could do a better job with dusting the areas around tables. Overall it was a good experience.
