Hi Sushi - East Geelong

Sushi rice is too sour and sticky. Salmon Sushi Roll has just got a small salmon, but a lot of rice inside. Not very good. I could not roll any hand at all. Pack cake is also too well done.

The service was super fast, although the restaurant was somehow busy. The tofu steak was great. Good value as it was pretty cheaper and came to great part. Had also the Teriyaki beef with rice, the sauce and miso soup was beautiful ????????

Bad attitude, bad service, can not find a chef, the food can not cook. Not really sure how the store operates in this competitive environment. The front cashier did not really feel like she wanted to serve customers. Hello Sushi in the side shopping center.

As far as Japanese restaurants go, you could make a lot worse in the Geelong region than Hi Sushi. The establishment in Malop Street offers a beautiful assortment of bento and other sorted dishes as well as sushi roles (if requested). The price is cheap and the service is prompt. It could sad give a greater ramen selection, which is a minor complaint. One thing that could be improved are the small portions of vegetables that accompany most dishes. On the flip side of it, the parts of the rice for a single meal / court are huge, generous, but not always a good thing (make a major compartment for a part plate for many, caution). Fast and easy on the wallet, a cheap way to fill your stomach.

Stopped in here for a bite and a break heading back late from the coast Nothing fancy at all, but the prices were reasonable and service efficient.
