It was great. The fries I ordered were over seasoned with seasoning salt. However I am not a salt person to begin with. I loved the She shed drink and the music was awesome.

The seating for most is pretty good. Some areas lack view on top floor to tye stage. Food we all had was pretty good. It was fresh and hot. Service we recieved tonight was excellent. Only is issue i was to recieve a text after checking in that our table was ready. Never recieved the text even after the did confirm the number at check in. So be sure to check as your time nears at the check in desk.

Music only. Food terrible. Nachos especially bad. Staff great.

Our best friends got engaged on a weekend getaway to Gatlinburg

The atmosphere and entertainment were wonderful. The food was pricey and mediocre.

Ole Red in Gatlinburg offers a lively atmosphere with great live music, but some customers experienced slow service and long waits despite having reservations. The food, although good, is described as very pricey. The vegan options are limited, but the beyond burger and house-made tots are highlighted. Despite some hiccups with service such as forgetting sides, customers praised the food quality, including delicious ribs and tater tots. Overall, Ole Red provides a fun, country-themed experience with good food and live entertainment, making it a great option for those looking for a lively dining experience in Tennessee's music scene.

Great food. Great atmosphere. The ribs at tots i had were probably some of the best I've had. Good job Ole Red. Plus was able to sit and listen to live music while I ate was superb. Morgan Mill was a great group.

My first and last visit. We got there around 4pm and were immediately seated. This was a plus due to it being a very busy day on the strip. We were quickly greeted by our server, who quickly had out drinks to our table (party of 6). The music could've been better, but wasn't horrible. The place is decorated cool and it was clean on the inside. Our food came out pretty quick. We 4 kids tender meals, which were reasonably priced. I had the Redneck Nachos, which was nothing more than cold cheese and spoon full of meat. Check out the picture. In all honesty, they were horrible, $17 for a bag of chips. I then had to pay $1 for about 10 jalapeños. My wife haf the Oklahoma Onion burger. It was WELL DONE and all the cheese had melted off onto the cold fries. Overall, very, very disappointed with our meal!

Our first time at Ole Reds. Although my tots was a little saltier than I like and my meal was spicy, I think that?s my personal preference so I?m still giving them 5 stars because I?m sure a lot of people like it that way. Our server was very nice and attentive. I had more than I could eat, big servings.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I really enjoyed the decor and the live music. The wait wasn't too bad. Our waiter was really professional and friendly. But the food was just not good. My husband had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it really lacked seasoning. I had the brisket sandwich, and I did not enjoy the sausage on it. If they ever change their menu I would love to give the restaurant another try.

It's a wondrous thing to walk in for lunch and be greeted by a live music performance. But this is Tennessee! The atmosphere here is pure country and fun. The wait staff was friendly and our party of 9 was taken good care of while everyone enjoyed their food.

My cousin and I had a Girls Weekend in Gatlinburg and decided to try out Ole Red. We had reservations for 6:30 pm and were seated within 10 minutes despite the restaurant being busy. Our waitress was pleasant, but she forgot to bring us butter for our biscuits, which should not be a request when serving biscuits. The food was mediocre. I ordered the Nashville Hot Champagne of Chicken (1/2) and my cousin had the meatloaf. The chicken was just okay, not terrible, not great. It didn't come with any vegetables, only dry biscuits and a small cup of white gravy. The spice was visible, but it wasn't hot. The meatloaf my cousin had was disappointing, with a texture and taste worse than a TV dinner. The entertainment was provided by JD Shelburne, who had a nice voice but kept reminding us to tip constantly, which became annoying quickly. Overall, we were highly disappointed as we had expected this meal to be a highlight of our trip, and we won't be returning.

We went to Ole Red because we were visiting Gatlinburg and we saw there was going to be live music. We had a nice meal and listened to Zack Ray. Our waitress was very attentive. The pulled pork was delicious, we especially liked the barbecue sauce. I wish there had been more chicken in the chicken pot pie. There was enough of our funnel cake dessert to feed a crowd!

Had reservations had asked for a table in front of the stage weeks prior to our going there.Lady at the door obviously didn't want to be there or care about where we sat ended up in the corner next to the service area.View was mediocre at best. Was excited to be going there I have a close friend who plays there and had told me how great it was. Well in our case not so much. Hopefully others will have a better time.

We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and even bought some souvenirs. We will definitely be returning. The nachos were delicious.

Ashley (server was very good). Bartender was rude, food was average. We’re out of the wine we wanted. Half the restaurant tables weren’t being used and people were waiting to be seated. Poor experience,

Had the taco salad, ordered it with an impossible burger and no cheese. It was delicious!

Good beyond burgers beverages.. Although mentioned we're vegan before ordering, they still offered tater tots...after eating all but 1, was told by other staff, they have eggs :

This is my favorite dinner spot in Gatlinburg. Live music is fun and the vegan food works for me (beyond burger, vegan salad with white beans, taco salad with beyond crumbles .

Only labeled vegan option was a vinegar cole slaw. I appreciate them labeling the menu but it wasn't very helpful. They didn't even label the beyond burger as vegan even though obviously it is, lol. The waitress seemed very confused when I asked about the cashew ranch, checked for me, and said they didn't have it. I would assume their fries are vegan (ask for no cheese sauce) and their fried pickles green tomatoes (labeled vegetarian, not vegan... But unless there's milk in the breading idk what would make them non vegan...they are served with ranch--i wonder if that's why it's not labeled vegan). They always have live music and their mocktails are DELISH. It was a very fun vibe and has some vegan options but it's nothing extraordinary. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-21

Ordered the “Blue Tick Burger” with Beyond Burger patty substitute option. Also a side of vinegar slaw that we added to the burger for flavour (thanks to the suggestion of another reviewer! . Burger tasty. Bun was ok, but just a sugar bun. Good option for a central location in town. We were excited to enjoy some live music with dinner.
