I like Courtepaille - yes they are a chain, but one of the better ones in my opinion. The food is grilled over flame in a large pit in the restaurant. "New joint. In the city centre. Staff are really helpful and worth knowing what they sell. There are 30 taps with a variety of beer that are all handcrafted. Everything from Hoppy, IPAs and the unusual like a beer. There are also some whisky and whisky, wine and soft drinks. The bar is long and good with bare brick walls and some beer hearts photos and posters. There is a clever bottle wall that separates the washrooms at the end. There's an area downstairs, but it wasn't open when I was. I liked it and judged the crowd, so do the Arras beer connoisseurs!"
