Today (Sunday 24th) is the last trading day for Our favourite Thai restaurant as it will be bulldozed and made into a road for the new hospital. A very sad day. Such a shame. We had to have one meal before they shut their doors. Hopefully they reopen in the area again soon. The food was brilliant as usual. The restaurant was packed. They even had patrons using the tables at the restaurant next door.
Whether you are dining in or taking away this is some of the best Thai around. Very reasonable prices and they deliver exactly when they say they will. I love all the food but particularly fond of the curries....yummy yummy.
This little gem is one of, if not the very best Thai Restaurants we have ever eaten at. Very tasty food and unlike so many other Thai restaurants when you order a chicken dish you get chicken with some vegies, not lots of vegies with a little bit of chicken. The food will delight - the prices will be a very pleasant surprise.
The Forest Thai restaurant is tucked away among a few other small suburban shops & businesses on busy Warringah Rd, Frenchs Forest. So with little urging by friends of ours we decided to revisit the local Thai with them last evening. Yes we had been before & enjoyed the "fare" but hadn't been for some time. Well the food was excellent, service friendly & competent, price very acceptable. The restaurant is small but no problem being too close. Sadly the Forest Thai is marked to disappear, along with the other shops, to make way for the "12 " lane highway" that will form a part of the new Northern Beaches Hospital precinct. Make the most of this little gem while you can.
