First, the staff were warm and friendly. Great! I had brisket which was only ok. To be fair, I'm used to great brisket in Houston so the bar is high. The moist/fatty part that I ordered was a little too fatty. The ribs were a bit on the dry side. This was at lunch time so not in the off hours. I thought I was ordering a sliced brisket and a chopped brisket sandwiches and what I got was clearly NOT brisket. It tasted like flavorless chuck roast, which is many times called poor man's brisket. The baked beans were Ranch Style beans right out ofthe can, no extra seasoning or anything to even try to hide it. The potato salad was a joke.
