My husband and I were truly impressed by Lisa and Damian when they came to our aid on a cold, wet winter's day. The decor was rustic and inviting, and the clean interior, complete with a wood fire, encouraged us to unwind while enjoying some delicious food. We look forward to returning to this charming pub soon. Best of luck with the Soup Festival this weekend! View all feedback.
What Zobb0476 dislikes about The Wonky Donkey at Forrest:
On January 3rd, I sincerely hope that was the worst meal I’ll have in 2017. I can tolerate poor service, but the pizza was simply inedible. The ham on the Hawaiian pizza was unappetizing, and the vegetable pizza was drenched in slimy eggplant. We were charged for a 12-inch pizza when we received a 9-inch one. The pizza crusts seemed like generic frozen ones. Additionally, please fix the door that slams every time it... View all feedback.
I had a pleasant and budget-friendly stay at a well-located property. I needed a place to stay last minute, and was relieved when they answered the phone at 7:30pm and informed me that I could retrieve my key from a lockbox at the reception shed. The property is situated across from a charming pub, with a general store and brewery located around 500m away for convenience. My stay could have been enhanced with a few improvements, such as having a dryer in the laundry room, a proper knife for cooking in the kitchenette of my studio, and clearer instructions for parking and accessible paths. It was unclear where I should park to access my studio, and the most direct path appeared to lead through the front yard of a neighboring studio.
This camping site is a great place to relax and unwind. The peaceful surroundings make it a perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle. However, there is room for improvement when it comes to the facilities, as some of the toilets were closed and guests had to walk further to find alternative ones.
Great country pub. Lisa the barmaid was a great help and Damo's chicken wings were yummy. Very friendly pub just off the main road.
Great place great name and real friendly staff. Loved the Wonky Donkey.
An absolute debacle. Had a booking for lunch and gave up waiting for food after 2 hours. I think the Wonky Donkey could be run better by an actual donkey. Don't waste your money here or spend hours travelling. Stay at home and have a sandwich- at least you'll get fed.
