It started out so promising for our group of 8 on a quiet night in the off-season.
They have Shipyard on tap, and it's a good place for groups. They even offered some folks in my group a military discount.

"Wonderful restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner who was so warm and friendly! Food is delicious. I had the jerk chicken wrap with lettuce , tomatoes and a delicious pineapple salsa!! Well done! My wife had the fish and chips. Both were fresh.. the fish and fries were crispy and the Cole slaw was creamy and well balanced. We Overheard the people at next table say that the burgers they had were the best ever! Great service and all the staff was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Five star plus! Highly recommend the Island Cafe and Grill. We’ll definitely be back!!"

"What a jewel! Located in a cozy home,the cook/chef had some unique, delicious offerings. Mostly seafood, but there were a few items for non-fish eaters like me. The waitress brought us fresh, warm rolls, which is a rare treat at any restaurant these days and earns high marks from me! This was conveniently located coming home from Martha’s Vineyard to Boston area."

"Awesome and delicious lunch. I had the red clam sauce on a bed of linguine. My wife had meatballs on fresh greens. It was so good. Waiter was very cordial and attentive to our needs. No rushing us in and out. A very relaxing, casual atmosphere."
