"I arrived at the restaurant with my two-year-old son and sat down, which was already considered a crime. An employee immediately came to call my attention and said that he couldn 't do that and that they didn 't work like that ??? .. I said that I had read on the internet that they served food all day long and so I sat down, despite already be 15 hours. He said that this time it would pass ??? but that next time he couldn 't do that and that they didn 't work like that... then another maid came by, shook her head and said : the child is barefoot and that with glass on the floor “, but no one came to take the glass off the floor. I was treated as a “person non grata”, even though people still came in to eat without any problems"

"We were spoilt for choice in Tomar with places to eat but we loved the atmosphere of this little restaurant. The waitress was great and she spoke good English which was a relief so we could ask for a salad along with steak and chips. Great well priced house wine. A lovely end to an excellent day!"

"We live in Tomar. We’ve been about a dozen times and there is just one server who is pretty rude. I don’t know if it’s his “shtick” but it needs to go. Last time, we were a party of 6. We didn’t get our starters yet and he wanted to know what we wanted for our main courses. We told him we need more time and he looked at us in disgust and said “no”. Then he said “five minutes”. The week before, we came in for a beer and my friend said hello to him, and that we needed a table and he simply said “NO”. We went straight to the bar, ordered beers and sat down at a table in the front.… if I didn’t know any better, we would have left! The manager really needs to talk to him. He makes me afraid to go there with visitors."
