"This is a tiny little family run restaurant, nicely decorated with Greek music playing. We had mentioned we were vegan on booking (essential, as it filled up completely just after we arrived at 7pm on a Thursday) and so the owner came over to talk us through our options. There were a couple to choose from that were already vegan, and a few of dishes needed a small change to make them vegan. We had pitta with spicy hummus, falafel with chilli sauce (remove the aioli), chilli butter beans (remove the chorizo), dolmades in tomato sauce (instead of a lemon cream sauce), aubergine fritters with beetroot dip (my favourite the beetroot dip was instead of a lemon mayo), greek potatoes, and a greek salad (no feta). All were absolutely delicious, and generously portioned. They recommend 4 dishes each but we struggled to finish those 7 between 2 of us, so go hungry or order sensibly! With sparkling water and a tea, the bill was around £45 which was good value to me. Service was brisk and efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu. Definitely would come back."

"Visited as part of a family group of eight.The tap house is a huge favourite of mine and I've recommended it to so many for its vegan options. Unfortunately all that was available to me was the superfood salad which when you take away the dressing and the cheese consists of spinach leaves, sunflower seeds, a few cranberries and a tiny amount of quinoa. I requested hummous and got a tiny portion which I was charged for. No desserts were available for me, on other occasions I've been given vegan platters but this time the waitress and kitchen said they couldn't do anything. Basically,I left hungry. Vegetarian choices were also very limited. Everyone else was very happy with their food, cocktails were lovely. I usually eat in the bar where the acoustics are fine, the other room is quite noisy especially when there are large groups in. Disappointing for the vegan and vegetarian in the group, fine for everyone else"
