We had not been to Sweetwaters for a very long time. We found it a mere shadow of its former self! The menu was limited, the prices were and the level of service disappointing. The food was good, but we felt it was overpriced. What User doesn't like about Sweetwaters on the River:
The food was fine, but it took well over an hour to get to us. If the restaurant was crowded, I might understand, but we had an early reservation and were one of only a few occupied tables when we were seated. For a meal that cost well over $100, that was pretty unacceptable. View all feedback.
Nice atmosphere, great views, THE FOOD IS SPECTACULAR!!! GREAT service... Can't say enough good things... But the Best? NOT expensive! Very well priced. Take my word for it, try the Hollandaise sauce!!!!!
The food is AMAZING!! Your bananas promote pancakes are the best I ever had. In addition, the view of the river is beautiful. This was such a wonderful experience, I really recommend it!
Large restaurant with good looking menu, but the delivery was really subpar as well as bland. I had the scallop and grits, even with bacon no real flavor. Wait staff was friendly
We haven't been in sweet water long. we found it just one shadow of his former self! the menu was limited, the prices were and the level of service disappointing. eating was good, but we felt it was overpriced. we had difficulty marking the server or busboy for water, the server took a longer time to bring my tarter sauce and the personal with denims was unexpected. Sweet water was an excellent culinary experience in the past. by the amount of diners, it is no longer the popular go to place. we will not be back.
