Buddy's Diner transported me back to the good ol' days with its retro charm and hearty breakfast fare. The fluffy pancakes were bigger than my head and tasted like a warm hug from grandma. The crispy bacon and perfectly cooked eggs were a symphony of breakfast perfection. And the service? They kicked me and my husband out for not tipping all the time when we didn’t have extra money but when we did we tipped and on top of it all they kicked us out in front of everyone and laughed about it and just to let people know they have ants the go all over some of the tables and watch out for hair in your food they don’t us hair nets View all feedback.

Been to to Buddy's plenty of times. And I love it. The food is great (the Biscuits are to die for). The service is very fast. And every one is so friendly. One of the better breakfast places in Eugene for the standard breakfast fare. They pour a good cup of coffee and dis great on the eggs. Hash browns were not crunchy and over greasy in my opinion. I'm still coming to terms with post Covid prices. Dishes that were in the $5 $7 range now start at $10. Service was excellent. I've driven by for 12 years and finally ate there.
A friend and I were in town for the solar eclipse, so we stopped here to get a bite to eat. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak omelet. They did not skimp on the meats. It was full of flavor.
