Contribute FeedbackThe reinvigorated Twin Owls Steakhouse has sparked mixed reactions among patrons. While some praise the stunning views and attentive staff, others lament the departure from the esteemed fine dining experience once associated with the name. The ambiance is likened to a ski lodge, with no signs of the original restaurant's charm. Diners report inconsistent food quality, particularly regarding steaks, yet seafood dishes and side items occasionally impress. Service appears hit-or-miss, adding to the disappointment. Despite its challenges, the picturesque setting and potential for excellent meals make it worth a visit, especially for special occasions.
We had the Bri appetizer, minestrone soup, house salad with crab, dryaged ribeye and crème brûlée. Every dish was 5/5 stars including the house made salad vinaigrettes.
Wonderful food, great service, and the bonus is the beautiful views from this restaurant perched on the side a mountain highway.
Very nice location. Not your typical food for an upscale steakhouse. I ordered the 10oz ribeye, thin cut and very tough. Typically, high end steakhouse you get a thicker cut ribeye. The sides were cold we sent back the broccoli they just microwaved it. The asparagus was thin, typical to what you buy at a grocery store, we are use to thinker asparagus at higher end steakhouse.
My wife had the prime rib with au jus and she said it was tasteless, especially the au jus. She added crab as a topper and was disappointed. I had the New York strip and it was good.
The restaurant had a fantastic ambiance, excellent service, and delicious food with a view!!! The prices were also very reasonable.
