Have to say, this is the best looking and by far the best fish and chips I have eaten in a long time. It so nice to find a good fish and chip shop in stevenage so would highly recommend people to visit this place. It looks lovely inside the shop too. Im absolutely disgusted with the service.i waited 2 hours for a delivery for my mum. It took for me to ring and they blamed drivers. My food had sat there 2 hours and they were prepared to send it out cold. The man was extremely rude. I will never use this shop again. !!! Service: 1 read more.

"Went in for the first time after hearing good reviews. Great selection of food in there I got a range of foods from the deli counter and the shelves which were all high quality and tasty. However, the experience wasn’t enjoyable. The man (presumably owner) wasn’t particularly welcoming and he started shouting at his young worker right in front of everyone. It just made me feel sorry for the poor kid and I wanted to be out the shop as soon as possible. There’s no excuse for acting like that in front of customers. Friendly, welcoming service goes a long way with me, and unfortunately my only experience with this place has put me off. Lovely prosciutto, but bad customer service doesn’t make up for that."

"We had a well-deserved coffee and cake at Willow Trees Café after a lovely cross county walk. Refreshments were excellent and it was nice sitting outside by the river Lea (there was even a swan on the river with several young cygnets). There is not much parking at (or near) the Café so most people walk from Wheathampstead (along the Lea Valley Walk) or walk cycle from Harpenden along the old railway line (which is also part of the Lea Valley Walk). The café does have a set of cycle racks. It should be noted that the café is only at weekends and bank holiday Monday’s between May Bank Holiday weekend and August Bank Holiday Monday. Contactless payment is now accepted and additional outside seating has recently been added."
