"Hähnchen Ewald is an institution! The absolute cult restaurant in the Bergisches Land, where only chickens are on the map. The chickens with Pommes and Mayo are so stunningly good and incomparable tasty and crispy that you forget the long travel time and on a few days up to 1.5 hours waiting time immediately. Whoever was there will always find it there. For this reason, the celebrities look over again and again: the wooden band Die Höhner and Heidi Klum (which comes from Bergisch Gladbach) even has its own menu! The ambience reminds more of the village Pub and is mainly determined by a lot of dark wood. After a few delicious crumbs or pilgrims from the barrel, but that doesn't bother..."

"The restaurant is located on the main road between mountainous gladbach and bensberg. parking is possible before the restaurant, but there are not many of them. the place began, at least it looks like taking away and supply service for Italian...food they have added a small room that is beautifully decorated lately. if the weather is good, then add a few beer benches outside. the menu is not very large, they are known for their excellent pizzas. the pizzas are huge. we had an salate that was also great. that was a mistake. the service is beautiful."
