"I open this restaurant and go every year 2 times to dinner. the environment is very cozy, especially when a fire burns in the fireplace. claus is sensational and his menus are always an experience. it is grandiose with which passion it cooks and that they can also feel when presenting the menu at the table. his wife petra is the good soul of the house and simply pointed. her service is wonderful, she takes care of everyone and in the wine selection you can trust her very well. I always feel very comfortable and can relax with a little bit. because you leave a lot of time and eat it. so far I have taken many friends and convinced them. so you love and in september we see each other again."

"This bright and simply decorated restaurant in the middle of Emmendingen, with its excellent staff, was a lovely place to be taken out for lunch. All the food was good and there were sufficient dishes to choose from but not an overwhelming menu. My ravioli...was delicious and everything else looked wonderful. I would certainly recommend the restaurant and it was the favourite place of our hosts who live in Emmendingen."
