Happy Garden Chinese - Elk Grove

The restaurant serves fantastic food and the service is top-notch. Their Sunday BBQ's are outstanding. Additionally, the bar shows football games on their TVs.

I tried the house special chow mein, pan-fried style, and it was delicious. The noodles were crispy just the way they should be. The server was very kind and attentive.

We used to live very close to this restaurant, but we will not be returning after seeing pictures of rats eating through the chairs.

After trying many Chinese restaurants in Elk Grove to Sacramento, it's been tough finding the perfect place for really good Chinese food. ! This is our first dining experience...ordered Hot Sour Soup, Hong Kong style chow mein, Fried wonton with cream cheese, Hot Crispy Shrimp with jalapeños and kung pao chicken... So fresh, the soup...spot on! The wonton, so fresh we had to let them cool off! The sauce for those was real sweet n sour, not that red colored watery syrup...as for the other dishes, so absolutely packed with flavor, the sauces were delicious and the meats, perfectly cooked...with crisp wok veggies... We have found our Chinese place!!! Love it and will be a weekly patron. The Oosterman family

Pretty good food. But not much in the combo plates for the price. I got orange chicken general chicken both were supposed to be spicy but they were not and way to sweet but it was pretty good
