I needed to have a surprise birthday/NYE catered for, given the time of year it was really tricky to find food that was good quality without breaking the bank.I popped in as the location was nearby our party location & delighted to find an incredibly spotless shop. What User doesn't like about Elizabeth Park Fish Chips & Chicken:
Went there a while ago and ordered a hot pack but when I checked the contents did not have any vegetables. When I told the manager, he aggressively told me it was my fault because I did not specify "vegetables". Went there again on 1st Nov 2015 and ordered a hot pack , with vegetables. When I got hot pack home, I got vegetables that were cold and uncooked. Wont be back for a third visit. Cheers View all feedback.
The food at this small restaurant is amazing. I have tried a variety of dishes from the menu and it is truly exceptional. The chicken breast is incredibly juicy and probably the best in the area.
Gold, I cant believe this place is still going, I recall when they opened in the late 70s. If I ever get back to Adelaide I must visit.....such great memories. Makes me happy to see they are still going!!
Amazing steak sammich, egg yolk still gooey, bread not too soggy or burnt, ordered extra bacon and they didnt skimp, and lots of steak too. Cooked well great flavors
I recently tried Farah Fast Foods hot chips for the first time, and I must say they are the best chips I have ever had in Adelaide. The prices are also very reasonable. I will definitely be returning.
Without a doubt, this is the best takeout I've ever had. As a chef with over 30 years of experience, I cook six days a week at a restaurant, so sometimes I like to take a break from cooking. I highly recommend trying this takeout for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Bon appétit, enjoy everyone!
