British Beer Company - Walpole

My husband and I were there on a weeknight. We arrived just before 7 PM. Our server Vicky was very friendly and seemed very eager to please. However, it didn't seem to me that the restaurant was crowded at all. I will admit it was hard to tell because we were seated in a small room off the main area. I ordered the chicken marsala. It came with a statler chicken breast, different from what you would get in an Italian restaurant. Of course this is a British version. It was good, if not a little salty. My husband had the shepherd's pie which he really enjoyed. We looked at pictures of the dessert menu and picked the apple caramel pie. The picture showed a pie shaped dessert described as having tart apples. We received a cake with no apple slices, squat and square. My husband ate it pretty much by himself. If there were tart apples in there I never tasted them. Disappointing. Vicky did report this to the manager. I would give it another try.

Lunchtime is a great time to head to BBC it's easy to get a table (esp with OpenTable! and the service is pretty speedy. Everyone loved their meals, particularly the two of us who had ahi tuna sandwiches. The wasabi level was PERFECT. Desserts were outstanding, especially the brownie sundae. They're totally splittable (or not, depending on whether you saved room . ;

The food was good, but the music was very loud and bad quality we were expecting on a Friday night so lärm, but the volume of the band left us early. kellner seemed not to know, menu very good and could not give beer recommended
