"The best in the city. variety of selection of unique deserts and pastries. all are not very sweaty, similar to Asian or European type. kuchen is also great and tasty. "Since they closed Okemos location waits are insane. Often no take out orders after 6:30. Not a good way to run a business. Their food might still be great but if you can not order the food it does not matter.Update: on a whim called to place an order the next day. Went to pick up the order, restaurant was busy but the staff was phenomenal. Within three minutes two employees stopped to see if they could help me. The first went to check on my order which was promptly brought to me. Everyone was very nice. There was not an empty seat in the restaurant.Drove home, then the fun begins. Ordered two signature rolls. There are no words that do justice to the taste of the Crouching Tiger. It was amazing. The combination of tastes was fabulous. The sexy bacon was better than we remembered.The second attempt was a true 5 experience. Thanks to Maru's management for replying. No need to discuss with management, you're food and service on my second attending said it all. Thanks."
