La Marea offers a top-notch dining experience with a wide variety of delicious dishes, wonderful service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite a few complaints about noise levels, slower service, and occasional flies, the overall consensus is positive. The food stands out as excellent, with notable dishes like the mozzarella and tomato salad and shrimp and scallops over polenta. While some may find the ambiance a bit cluttered and with tight seating, the quality of the food and service seems to make up for any shortcomings. Customers should be prepared for a potentially noisy experience, but the flavors and variety of the menu seem to speak for themselves. Overall, La Marea serves up a dining experience worth trying, even if it may have some small hiccups along the way.

The food was very good, a lot of food and reasonably priced. The resturant door is actually in the back of the building, which can be confusing for the first time visitor. Now the downside...it is very loud and unfortunately the dining room was buzzing with flies. For me nothing worst then having to wave flies off your meal. We will try it again for lunch but not for dinner on a Friday night. Service: Dine in

What a great find! A little hidden gem with some of the best tasting Italian I've had in years! This was our first time here. I'm from Chicago and grew up enjoying amazing homemade Italian food and great restaurants too. As soon as we walked into Johhny Macaroni's, it smelled like the Italian cooking from home, which was a good sign! We were not disappointed; everything from the fresh bread, the meatballs, the appetizers (antipasto salad! , to the main entrees were excellent! And the portions were huge! Loved the Festival of Italy, and the Baked Ziti was absolutely divine! (Just like grandma's . Definitely found our go-to Italian joint when away from home. We frequent the area often and are so glad we found Johnny Mac's. It's a little off the beaten path, but worth it. There are several locations, but this is the original and the best, according to locals. MANGIA! Parking: There is parking in front, but tricky to get in and out because it's tight and you're backing right into the street with a railroad crossing to one side and a slightly blind curve on the other. I recommend parking in the back. If you have never been, it can be tricky to see the entrance to the rear parking (I passed it the first time and had to turn around

I visited this restaurant on Mother's Day a couple of years ago. The food was fantastic, and the service was good. However, one of the staff members mistakenly accused me of hugging them after I wished them a happy Mother's Day. The ambiance could use some improvements, but overall, it was a great experience.

I finally managed to find the time to try Johnny's after hearing great things from others.
