I live just down the street from Kim Wah which is very convenient. Eating there is a treat that I don't indulge in too often, but not because I don't like it, because I am diabetic and must always watch what I eat. I like the buffet because I take just what I need. I've never been disappointed with what they have to offer. If it didn't put weight on me, I'd have it more often. This is a family friendly restaurant, th... View all feedback.
What Andrew J dislikes about Kim Wah:
Waitress was very pleasant but she was very busy, they did have help wanted on the door, the food took a long time to arrive, not sure why because we were eating a late lunch, when the food did arrive some of the dishes weren't hot sadly, this was our second time here not sure if we will go again! I was passing through Duncan and I found this little gem.
Basic Canadian Chinese food, the smorg looked good. I had wor wonton, an excellent sample of the cuisine. I've had better, but it was hot, tasty and filling. Friendly wait staff.
We had dinner here and ordered off the menu vs the smorgasbord. Food came quickly and was hot. Service was fast and friendly. Even a waitress that wasn't looking after our table came to check on us. Both of our kids ate all their food and wanted second portions. The restaurant was moderately busy and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying their food. It's not a fancy gourmet restaurant but we were all happy with our experience.
Decided to try take out tonight. Had singapore noodles and spicy squid. Both dishes were barely etible and the leftovers were place directly in the compost. I do not recomend eating here.
Went here and it was ok. It said that there was also Canadian food but there was not. The service was not bad but it could have been better. But the Chinese food was good. Recommend the wonton soup. Over all it was ok.
