What User dislikes about Gabby's Bistro:
Went in for some snacks with the family, the place was quiet and cozy with cute and colorful interior design, got to sit in their booth-like table. Menu had a lot to choose from so it had lots of variety. I find the food a bit too pricey though and the service was tolerable. View all feedback.

The prices are reasonably and the food is delicious. As a dessert I can really recommend their Mango and Banana Crepe which is really super delicious!

I went here on a fine Saturday afternoon. Not busy compared to other well-known restaurants in the city. Even the most busiest restaurant in the city can perform good and attentive service. I think this has been a problem for this restaurant for a long time. The ambiance is so much relaxing weekend though. The staffs are one of the reasons that pull down their reputation. There was no receptionist to at least welcome you when you enter. The front liners basically sets the image of the restaurant, ya know. Well, for me at least. You just see the girls sitting behind the counter with their backs facing in front of you. I said hi to them but none of them were nice enough to return the gesture. You see male staffs wearing hats, a girl's long hair was unkept (covering her face like an emo when she took my order and left blankly; no small smiles. No table check backs at least too. Some of them were laughing boisterously over something they were buzzing over on a phone. If you needed something, like when you use the call bell that was provided on every tables, it takes 4 taps for you to get their attention and they would stare at you for a while until you have to raise your hand to them as a signal for them to come closer. This happens from time to time. No wonder some of my colleagues never came back even if I wanna eat some good food. Their food is tasty tho. That's what I like about this restaurant. Sometimes, the rice is not warm. But, I'm just so amazed of the variety of food that is in stored in their menu.

Gabby's Bistro is recommend by new found friend Dr. Dael (Dentist) who is a local in Dumaguete City. This branch in Rizal Boulevard is the 2nd restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant, the entrance to the mall where the restaurant is located is quite impressive already. The entire ambiance of the restaurant is so nice and the cleanliness is very commendable. The lights and sounds are very relaxing. Now let's talk about the food, I didn't taste any extraordinary in the way they prepare the food. I would say that it's just ordinary but still taste good. But i will recommend their Grilled Salmon Fillet and the Ribs Barbie Q. The Teamonade drinks is bottomless if you require it to be is very thirst quenching. The orders arrived just in 15-20 minutes. The staff are courteous and always accessorized with a smile. If you happen to be in Dumaguete City, eating in Gabby's Bisto could be in your to-do-list too.

This place is a little out of the way. Outside of downtown about 6 minute trike ride. The meal I had was good American food. The mashed potatos were not very flavorful but all the rest of the mea lwas good. Had the pork tenderloins. Desert was apple crisp and icecream. Very good
