"The food was tasty. The waitress unfriendly, unwelcoming and had very little table etiquette and for this reason I will not be returning. Her demeanor was as if she could not be bothered to serve us. Due to severe health problems this was supposed to be a rare treat for me. Very disappointed."

"The food is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Either a different kitchen team, or they 've lost their passion. Prices ramped up about as far as they dare go, and even the Carrot cake was a bit dried up. Sticky tables and mediocre service, has turned an 'old favorite ' into a 'drive on by '. A real shame."

"I went to the Chestnut Horse recently with my wife and friends for a meal. The atmosphere in the pub is very friendly and warm. I had what I consider to be the best pie that I have ever had in my life. I had the Pit pony . The pastry was delicious. The filling of sausage meat, black pudding and haggis topped off with a runny duck egg was a total joy to experience. I 'll definitely go again. My problem will be if should have another of those pies or try a different one."

"Booked for valentine's in advance for a special meal for me and my partner. We've previously been to the Doncaster branch a couple of times and we really enjoyed it and couldn't fault it so we thought we would give Beverley Estabulo a go this time. We we're seated at a table in the corner. Our drinks orders we're taken and we we're told we could go to the salad bar and start. Once we returned our complimentary glasses of prosecco was at the table but our main drinks hadn't come yet, so we started to eat. The meat carvers we're really friendly and the quality of the food was perfect. After mins i asked if the drinks were coming and i was told there was a slight backlog and they would get them in a minute. There was another couple who came in afterwards who i noticed already had their drinks but i thought, mistakes happen no problem. After we'd finished our prosecco's so i once again asked if our drinks we're coming. I was told there was a problem with the internet so our order hadn't gone through but they would chase it up. I was abit annoyed as we was mins into eating and it was starting to spoil the night. minutes later i'd had enough to be honest and i said this is unnacceptable service to the waiter. He apologised and said he would personally make sure we got our drinks and put us to the front of the queue. I felt the meal was abit spoiled at this point to be honest. A couple of minutes later our drinks finally came and he did apologise and say they would be on the house. I wasn't looking for free drinks but it would of been nice to not wait mins! I also remembered from the doncaster one about complimentary fries so i asked while he brought the drinks if we were supposed to get fries with our meals. He apologised once again and said yes and he would bring them. Although if i'd not been before i wouldn't of known to expect these. I paid i think and of that was a tip but a tip for what? Poor service basically. Will not be returning!"

"What a gem! Went on the day of the Grand National so busy, and buzzy! Shared a starter of scotch egg, and mini sausage. The SE was excellent and the sweet relish with it even better. Two of us had large Whitby scampi with fat chips and super tartar sauce, and one “the best burger I’ve ever eaten”! Drinks, and all in £85 for three,so great value (these days! as well."
