Excellent service, friendly, fast and helpful. Great roast lamb and vegetables, and starter of garlic mushrooms. Good value for money. Tasty adnam’s bitter. A cosy historic local pub

Yet another fantastic Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak. Food was amazing, the beef was cooked to perfection. Really great size portions and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Won't be long before we make another booking

This is the second time we have eaten here in the past few weeks and on both occasions the food has been fantastic. Had a lovely Sunday roast a couple of weeks ago with family and friends and found the food to be fantastic in particular the beef which was to die for. The past weekend visited on the Saturday evening and had the fish and chips which again was very good indeed. Cod portion was big with lovely crispy batter and the chips were amazing. Local singer Andy Lawrence was playing in the bar area and made for a very enjoyable evening. Will for sure be visiting again very soon
