We stayed a night in the Ibis Style in the centre of Dijon on our way from Cassis to London. We mostly avoid eating in hotel restaurants so we went to the nearby Les Halles where there are lots of restaurants. Some were closed (Monday) but quite a few were open. All restaurant and bars on Dijon's Market Square were full to the brim and I did not feel like dining in a crowded and noisy place. So I chose this restaurant were just a handful of customers were eating. Then one understands why: food was really poor both escargots and pavé de saumon were tasteless, and they came with a sauce that was little more than cream with some parsley.
