A comfortable, relaxing break in the heart of Bakewell. We had the deluxe suite, which was well-appointed and cosy, with added treats of chocolates, lovely toiletries and lots of bottled water. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. One of the best full English breakfasts I have ever had and a lovely evening meal in the beautiful dining room. Thoroughly recommended! read more.

"I was passed to 4 different people whilst ordering over the phone. I was told by 3 of them that a butter paneer couldn’t be ordered, despite paneer and butter chicken both being on the menu. To then be told by the 4th person that it could be made. Upon collection, we were told that the card machine wasn’t working no mention of this on the phone when I ordered the curry. Asked them where the nearest cash machine was and they didn’t know?? After finally collecting, the food was bland and flavourless. Far too much sauce to filling ratio. Cold naan breads with little filling. I don’t understand the previous reviews, the place is hugely overrated. FYI, we ended up getting cash back at the BP garage up the road."
