"Visited for Coffee and cake. Really friendly owner and staff. Food made fresh to order. Definitely the best coffee in Bakewell. We had Raspberry and Almond cake. Really moist and delicious. Can definitely recommend."

"I was passed to 4 different people whilst ordering over the phone. I was told by 3 of them that a butter paneer couldn’t be ordered, despite paneer and butter chicken both being on the menu. To then be told by the 4th person that it could be made. Upon collection, we were told that the card machine wasn’t working no mention of this on the phone when I ordered the curry. Asked them where the nearest cash machine was and they didn’t know?? After finally collecting, the food was bland and flavourless. Far too much sauce to filling ratio. Cold naan breads with little filling. I don’t understand the previous reviews, the place is hugely overrated. FYI, we ended up getting cash back at the BP garage up the road."

"Called for late lunch, Unfortunately they stop food at 3pm when they close at 5pm so ate earlier than I wished. The staff were very pleasant and the food was plentiful and very good, also good value. We will definitely return on a day they stay open till later."

"Cosy, vegan/vegetarian café in Buxton. Owners very welcoming and accommodating. We had the vegan mushroom soup with vegan butter and roll, Coronation tofu sandwich and the vegan Indian burger. All delicious and cooked to perfection. Also a very good selection of vegan cakes and vegan take-away frozen meals. A very small space but filled with love and good intentions. Give it a try.
