Russell's Smokehouse - Denver

Enjoyed the meal that I had, but was disappointing that the published menu for restaurant week was extremely different than what was presented at the restaurant. I would have selected another option had I known what the restaurant week menu actually was. I ended up ordering off of the regular menu, which I could do any time.

My husband and I decided to come here for restaurant week, I specifically chose this restaurant because on the menu for restaurant week they had Bone Marrow, however when we got our menu they had severely cut the restaurant week menu, and then the one item we went in for wasn't even on their full menu anymore. We decided to stay, however our whole meal severely lacked flavor from the ribs to the sides. We left there incredibly disappointed and hungry.

We really liked the vibe of the restaurant and wanted it to be awesome. There were five of us and we had a reservation . I ordered a fillet but they said they were out. Pretty disappointing for a place that serves beef. My daughter ordered Mac and cheese and it was like warm. My son in law ordered salmon and they said it was over cooked so they prepared him a new one. It was good but they rest of the food on his plate was cold. Like I said...we loved the ambiance and really wanted to like this place. We would probably give it another chance but we were disappointed with our first visit

This was the perfect double date spot. It wasn’t too loud, we got seated within minutes of our reservation, and the food was great.

Hands down the best food around. Great staff, great drinks. Love this place for friends and family.
