Was Calista Schowalter at Treetops a mag?
No complaints re food or staff. But guys! Look up!!! Your woven light shades are really dirty. With fans going one must get a certain amount of dust blown onto one's meal.Tops of aircon units could do with a wash down too while you have the ladder out.Corner by the toaster could do with an extra clean too.Thanks. What Audrey Petit dislikes about Treetops:
Booked in for Christmas lunch only on 25 December 2014. Adults $130 per head and $45 for ChildrenNo HAM No TURKEY No CHRISTMAS PUDDING. There was Fruit Mince pies, but these are not CHRISTMAS PUDDING.Sent emails to management who sent back photos of Pork, some unrecognisable meet and not pudding. Had previous good review, but would not recommend this for Christmas Lunch again. What a shame that this lack of Christmas... View all feedback.

The breakfast buffet is standard hotel fare good food but nothing special. Similarly evening meal menus are not that exciting but reasonably well cooked

Stayed at travel lodge and ate breakfast and dinner at treetops. Amazing service and Mikaela (our waitress) went above and beyond making sure my mothers allergies were catered for. Great food, good sized portions. And the breakfasts were fabulous!

Ordered calamari and garlic bread one night, and steak sandwich the next...they were both beautiful!

It was my wife and my pleasure to dine twice at this Restaurant at the Travelodge. The main course we had was Barramundi, and it was served with Artichoke hearts on top in a delicious supple sauce, on a bed of beetroot puree and a few other vegetables that just seem to blend beautifully, with a perfect blend of the things the experts often mention on Masterchef to try to achieve. The venue at the Travel Lodge, may look dated and in need of a renovation, but the things that matter to me are Customer Service, openness to suggestion for improivement and care. Tick all these boxes as we stayed at this Resort whilst in Darwin, and folk like the Duty Manager Johnny couldn't be greater to all folk I saw him interact with. Always with a smile and prepared to go that one step further to make a stay far more enjoyable.Well done Travelodge and the Treetops Restaurant for exhibiting what others talk about in Customer Service, but often fail miserably in delivering. You did the opposite and were fantastic. If you want us back if we visit Darwin again, we are more then happy to reacquaint, but next time I will supply my own Barramundi Fish. (I caught a 60 cm Barramundi Fish - perhaps the best eating fish on earth, earlier on the day we had a meal at this Restaurant, but I released it back into the Corroboree Billabong to live another day, because I didn't know if the Resort could cook it up. FYI they can and will and serve it for dinner for you if you are lucky enough to catch one of these gem's of fish. Mine was large enough to feed 8, but small enough to still retain the flavours and textures that make this fish so sought after for the dining table They will also even freeze it for you as they have large freezers on site!).
