"Lovely food. Always enjoy our lunch and breakfasts at Birchwood. One complaint. The breakfast Menu finishes at 11.30. Lunch Menu starts at 12. Have a half hour break where we were offered coffee and cake. As as Chef I don't get this.. Still great food."

"I tried to get some paintings about the years a booking and finally had my first experience tonight. what a beautiful little restaurant. jindabynes number 1 place to dinen. everything was nice. the service, the tasty eating. everything we have ordered was nice. highly recommended and we will definitely come back. Thank you."

"The aromas of food are amazing, it is just such a shame that the portions are a bit stingy, and served by a person with so acidic face you wonder whether they are made to suck on lemons all day as a punishment for something. We had the wings and satay chicken sticks as ducks. Again amazing aromas. It is only that the wings were the wing tips, and the chicken poles had 3, which were a good size and one that was so small that it really should not be served. Chicken wings have to buy the cheapest thing for a restaurant. Sure, if you cut them into separate tips and mini drums, you can serve more than the tips. Mains were the chicken red curry and caramelized pig bell. Again amazing aromas. The pig bell was a good portion, 5 large pieces of caramelized meat, slightly topped skin and soft, jelly like fat- delicious. The chicken breeding had so little chicken in that we first thought they had accidentally brought us a herbal curry. With the prices of vegetables at the moment, you would think that they would make more money more chicken and less vegetables in, but no. This stiffness stingyness with the chicken cost her 1 star in the review. The other star is lost to have someone, already regularly mentioned by other reviewers who serve people with such an angry, acidic disgust and see that they are either an owner or the place is so desperate for employees who put everyone before customers. Keep this person seeing and cleaning tables instead of serving customers, she puts them out of her food. Maybe you bring your own chicken breast and wings and ask them to cook them for you, then you will actually cost some because the kitchen is great, just not the services or service."

"Great Italian food went on Friday night with 2 other mates, phoned earlier that day and Angie managed to get a table. Ordered Entrees, Pasta, Pizza and Coffee, all very good. Staff were doing a great job considering how busy it was. Perplexed at some of the reviews on here what do you expect in a country town, in peak season, in the middle of a worker shortage! Have a bit of empathy!"

"Place looked like it meant business,... and it does! Burgers took a little while to get to us but they came together. Good Boutique beer special and friendly staff, happy young crowd too. Fresh and clean.Burgers came with nice chips, slightly ordinary buns, and awesome burger meat and sauce. The sauces on the table really made this place special. Baskets everywhere with special sauces, many different hot sauces too, it blew me away and secured a five star review for me. Staff even asked if we were ok and happy, which was very nice considering there is no waiver service officially - though we were waited on :). Can certainly recommend a visit if you love your chili."

"Bloody good mix platter, definitely more than enough serving for one person. Mushroom sauce was a beauty and the baked potatos were a winner.<br/ <br/ Service was good and friendly staff. Owned by family who were attentive to the locals but also the new folks. Awesome work guys!"

"From the minute we walked in we felt very welcomed. Even more so because we had our 3 and 7 year old with us and I was really concerned that we might be treated differently. But my children were treated just as equally to all the other patrons. The food was fresh and tasted amazing (even my 2 picky eaters couldn't get enough). It was the perfect way to end our long awaited family holiday."

"Delicious food at this restaurant in Jindabyne town centre. Full of flavour without overloading the palate, excellent and friendly customer service. All dishes that our party ordered were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Also a good wine selection. Highly recommended."
