The menu of Around The Clock from Crystal Lake contains about 371 different dishes and drinks. On average you pay about $12.0 for a dish / drink.

Experience at the restaurant was mixed. The evening started off on a positive note with a friendly and attentive waitress named Andrea. However, the manager seemed more interested in chatting with friends than attending to guests, including ignoring an older gentleman who came in to buy a bakery item. On a different note, some patrons had a pleasant experience with a helpful waitress who even let a child pick out a toy. Other guests praised the engaging and friendly staff on special occasions like birthdays and Mother's Day. The food received mixed reviews, with some highlighting dishes like steak and lobster, fried chicken, and fresh strawberry pie, while others found the food average. Overall, the restaurant is known for its history, efficient and friendly staff, and consistent food quality, making it a recommended spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Long time in business with good food and plenty of it. Great service. Very consistent. Good value. Large menu. I would not recommend the Waffle as it was small for the price and served too cold. View all feedback.

What Adam Mickiewicz dislikes about Around The Clock:
The waitress lacked personality; she didn’t smile and was quite brusque with us. My dinner, which was steak and lobster, was good and cooked to a nice medium rare. However, my mom's prime rib steak was gray and looked unappetizing. I wouldn't return for dinner, but I might consider breakfast or lunch in the future. The waitress really needs to improve her people skills. View all feedback.

Great local diner!!! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great place to bring any age. Fabulous baked goods to eat in or take home. Nothing fancy but consistently good food is served at all mealtimes!!!

Traditional American diner with a huge sweet's counter. The menue has everything from salads to entree's like roast turkey mashed potatoes and gravy. The French onion soup is good, salty but good. The portion size is standard allowing leftovers. Everytime I've been the parking lot is full but seating is available immediately. The service is always prompt, helpful and friendlymaking sure glasses are full and guests are happy. Highly recommend this family restaurant to everyone that's wants a cup ofcoffee and pie or family gathering on Sunday.

I recently met friends at Around The Clock for lunch. Enjoyed my food. Friends enjoyed their food. Waitress was great. Problem was: I use a wheelchair needed to use the handicapped accessible rest room. First time I've ever used the rest room there. Their handicapped accessible rest room is very small unsafe for a handicapped person. First of all, the stall is too narrow for an accessible stall plus the door pushes inward. The door wouldn't close with me in my wheelchair till a friend pushed squeezed me uncomfortably close to toilet, with my legs chair pressed against toilet in order to finally close the door. To be ADA compliant the stall door should swing outward. Minimum width of stall should be 60 inches with a minimum depth of 56 inches so that a wheelchair can freely rotate inside stall. I was very surprised that a popular, long established restaurant like Around The Clock does not provide a good, ADA compliant handicapped accessible restroom for their customers. Restaurants are legally required to provide an ADA compliant restroom plus it's an important customer service for the customers that eat there.

Consistent for many years, portions good, atmosphere a step back in time but comfortable.

Had brunch here with family. My wife and I split the biscuits and gravy, sausage, and a couple eggs. It was ok but definitely have had better biscuits and gravy. The service and atmosphere was good. Would definitely come back but would try something else next time.
