The restaurant was fine but we were lucky to get a table as Open Table either didn't forward the booking or the venue doesn't handle them reliably. In the end they had space and explained it happened a lot so no disaster, but I'd recommend phone to book a table. They had a reduced menu due to no grill on that day but food was fine.

A real hidden/ unknown gem... as a gluten intolerant diner, I get so annoyed when we aren't catered for (half the stuff taken off the plate, but yet still charged the extortionate amount).... NOT here.. I've been a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed each time. The manager is attentive, friendly and a real character! He takes time and effort to entertain the children, make sure they are catered for so the adults can enjoy their food. The service is great, the food is amazing and if you're a gluten free eater, you have to try this restaurant/ pub.. it's so random as it's literally on a roundabout between east grinstead and Crawley... but 100% worth the trip... id definitely book, though!! Enjoy x

The staff were inattentive and we were left a long time without even being offered a drink, despite reserving in advance. Probably just not enough people on and those who were there not sufficiently experienced at keeping track of all the customers. Starter good, main fair (colleague complained his linguine was overcooked) and dessert was good. Parking easy, so has the ingredients of a decent place if they can get the right ratio (and quality) of serving staff to diners.

Great service, the Mezze starter to share was extremely good, we weren't rushed to eat it . Mains were served when we were ready .
