Contribute FeedbackLa Brasserie is a reliable and nurturing dining experience within the Sofitel, providing good food and drink with a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some issues with service, the food quality was praised, and the ambiance was seen as a pleasant respite from travel troubles. While some felt the restaurant was overpriced and lacking in attention, others found it to be a standout option for hotel dining. Overall, La Brasserie offers a high standard of food and service, making it a recommended choice for travelers passing through Terminal 5.
After a challenging journey to the airport, it was a welcomed relief to unwind at La Brasserie, which proved to be consistently excellent as always. Once you are willing to splurge a little, you will enjoy delicious food and drinks. I indulged in sea trout, quail, and a beautifully presented lemon dessert that I shared with my husband. All thoughts of travel troubles melted away.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, but unfortunately, the service was lacking. Things started off well, but after we received our main meal, the service deteriorated. It seemed like no waiter was paying attention to our table, so we had to constantly ask for things like the dessert menu, order it, and then receive it. We also had to wait a long time for our coffee, which was made incorrectly (flat whites are not the same as americanos). Overall, the food was good once we finally got it, but it fell short of what you would expect from a fine dining establishment.
There is nothing to complain about, as the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the wine was also very nice.
Absolutely outstanding food would definitely go back!
AhhPerfect in every way New, comfortable, air conditioning and so convenient for a lay over in London.
