Great local brewery in Courtenay offering a variety of beers. The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, with a cozy patio. Despite some complaints about food quality and service, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient with ample parking. While some visitors had mixed reviews about the food, the beer selection received high praise. A popular spot among locals, though improvements in service, food quality, and responsiveness to customer feedback could further enhance the overall experience. Overall, a solid option for beer lovers in the Comox Valley looking for a laid-back and enjoyable atmosphere.

We decided to have dinner here on a Monday evening and we are very happy we did! The outdoor dining area is fantastic and was the ideal spot to dine on a sunny day. The food was incredible! We chose dishes from the Mexican menu: I had the rockfish bowl and my husband ordered the birria burrito. Both dishes were outstanding. We also tried the tortilla soup, which was delicious.

I ordered the NEIPA and a burger, and both were fantastic. The parking lot is located across the street. I loved sitting on the patio, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a good beer. The staff was also very friendly. I couldn't resist buying a 4-pack before leaving.

A wonderful stop on our way home from a camping trip in Strathcona! We came for the thought of cold beers (on a 40 degree day! and stayed for the food. Some quotes to describe our meal: The grip it chicken sandwich was 'genuinely the best chicken burger I 've had a lot of chicken burgers ' The Buffalo chicken wings were 'in the top 23% of chicken wings I 've had ' 'More places should make burgers like the chrome dome burger ' And of course the beers were great! The only thing missing would have been some air conditioning

Was very good. The atmosphere was top notch, really a sense of community and bonding which hasn't really felt in a year or so with COVID doing COVID things. The staff was great and very accommodating, especially since it was our first time being there. The drinks were great, the burger was top notch. The only minor complaint I had was the fries were very salty, so if you get the fries, ask for light salt (unless you're into salty foods). Definitely will come again.

Went there on IPA day. Was I wrong to assume I could get their IPA? Was actually told they wouldn't serve it until later that day They had a guest IPA for a ridiculous $9. And when they DO have something real tasty in stock; they often won't fill a growler of it. When the summers crowds subside- this place may be very UNbusy. Getting a bad rap with the locals Too bad
