"Went here several times during a holiday trip. Staff very friendly. Fantastic views from the outside tables. The menu was decent with good variety. We tried several dishes and they were all very good, obviously a decent chef working hard in the kitchen."

"We were met with a very frosty welcome from the manager to the point where we almost turned around and left. the waitress was pleasant enough and eating was very good. we have adhered to all Kovid regulations and have been made. to feel uncomfortable, but the locals went in. unmasked put her hands on the bar and was still welcomed. a disappointing visit."

"Terrible. Waitress clearly didn’t want to be there, rude and miserable. Food very larger portions of poor quality food . Sea food starter was not a described on menu, steak flavourless with a very cheep of the shelf sauce . Ice cream £3 per very small scoop . Wine poor . Restaurant not even a quarter full in the Friday night I can see why . Over priced, poor quality and terrible service. Don’t waste your money guys ."

"People think of The Mermaid on St Mary's, The Turk's Head on St Agnes or the Seven Stones on St Martin's as the best pubs on the Isles of Scilly. I think it's the Fraggle Rock Bar on Bryher. The setting is fantastic with sheltered views across the water past the rock to Cromwell's and King Charles' castles on Tresco. Food is simple but excellent and drinks include gins from the islands. Toilets are clean and serviceable and there is WiFi. Friendly and welcoming staff make this a place to go."
